Did you know that Dr. Napier is one of only three Pelvic Rehabilitation Certified Practitioners in the Hampton Roads area—a rare and highly specialized distinction.
Why did she pursue this advanced certification?
“My dedication to my patients inspired me to pursue Pelvic Rehabilitation Certification in 2019. I wanted to deepen my knowledge and refine my clinical skills to offer the highest level of care possible. With over 13 years of experience in pelvic health and five years in developmental pediatric physical therapy, I’ve built a career focused on helping individuals of all ages optimize their pelvic health and overall well-being.”
What drives her mission?
“My mission is to educate and empower each patient—helping them understand that many pelvic health challenges can be significantly improved, and even resolved, through skilled physical therapy. I am deeply passionate about holistic, patient-centered care, and I treat the whole person—not just the symptoms. My approach integrates nervous system regulation with musculoskeletal health to deliver truly comprehensive and transformative treatment.”
What inspired her to become a physical therapist—and why pelvic health?
“I grew up as an athlete and was drawn to a career that kept me active and engaged. I initially envisioned a path in sports physical therapy, then explored neuro and pediatric care early in my career. Eventually, I discovered pelvic health—and it resonated with me deeply. Guiding patients through some of the most challenging moments in their lives, and helping them reclaim their quality of life, is incredibly rewarding. It’s work I genuinely love every single day.”
